Located in North York, just outside of downtown Toronto, Highland Group of Companies (formerly known as Highland Gym) has offered quality products and services aimed towards daycares and schools since 1971. We specialize in commercial playground manufacturing, installs, maintenance and retrofitting of existing play structures, natural play areas, indoor/outdoor amenities and structures (including planters, sheds, sand boxes and shade units). Other services we provide include rubberized surfacing, basketball units and site construction around institutional buildings and their accessories.
Indoor and Outdoor Amenities
We offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor products to meet your every need. Many of our products are Canadian built and manufactured, ensuring all quality and safety standards are met. We specialize in renovating existing interiors and also create entirely new spaces to provide state of the art childcare. Please see our products page for more inspiration.
Natural Play Areas
Highland Group builds and installs various types of outdoor site amenities including all natural play areas. Items range anywhere from: benches, bridges, bike paths, game panels, picnic tables and much more.

Our natural play areas also incorporate Engineered Wood Fibre (EWF) a cost-effective, eco-friendly surfacing material made from shredded, virgin wood designed specifically for playgrounds and parks.
